Natalie Yousef, MS, is a second-year medical student at CHSU-COM in Clovis, California. Her journey from community college to UCLA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology, demonstrates her perseverance and dedication. She discovered her passion for teaching during a Master of Integrative Anatomical Sciences program at USC's Keck School of Medicine. She further honed her skills while teaching Anatomy and Human Biology at Santa Monica College. Her involvement in various leadership roles at CHSU-COM, such as being elected as the Medical Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses Chair and an SGA Mental Empowerment Committee member, volunteering activities like Operation Clean Up and Fresno Street Saints Health Fair, and participation in conferences, research projects, and mentorship programs underscore her commitment to community health, education, and advancing medical knowledge. As a first-generation American and the daughter of two immigrants, Natalie's aspirations as a physician focus on patient education, preventative medicine, and advocating for minority and marginalized populations.
