Dr. Cole is program director of Mercy Family Medicine Residency St. Louis, a 6-6-6 community based program in suburban St. Louis that is accredited by the ACGME with osteopathic recognition. She has 15+ years’ experience in graduate medical education and administration. She a clinical preceptor for ATSU/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City University of Medical Biosciences, Ponce Health Sciences University, and St. Louis University School of Medicine.
A graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002, she completed her osteopathic internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 2003, her residency at Mercy Family Medicine Residency in St. Louis, MO in 2006 and a faculty development fellowship at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 2010. She is a 2015 graduate of the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors National Institute for Program Director Development fellowship. Dr. Cole maintains dual board-certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Cole is currently the President of the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors. She is past Board Chair of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. Previously, Dr. Cole served six years as medical director of Mercy Clinic Roosevelt High School school-based health center in St. Louis City.
