Dimitria Papadopoulos DO, FAOCD is a board certified dermatologist for over 20 years. She is owner and founder of Bellmore Dermatology PLLC in New York. Dr. Papadopoulos received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She successfully completed her rotating internship at Nassau University Hospital and went on to complete her dermatology residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY. She is currently assistant clinical professor at South Nasssau Communites Hospital, St Barnabas Hospital and St. John's Episcopal Hospital in New York. She is currently a teaching attending in two leading dermatology residencies in New York, she is a lead physician for SPOT ME Free Skin Cancer screenings and is a medical liason for a local News station educating the general public on skin care and safety. Dr. Papadopoulos is also co-author of several articles and posters linking osteopathic practices and principles in the field of dermatology. She has a true passion for dermatology and specializes in medical dermatology as well as skin cancer detection. She is in good standing with the Academy of Dermatology, the American Octeopathic College of Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association and New York State Osteopathic Medical Society. She thrives on educating her patients, health care professionals and her community about the field she loves.
