Chandra M. Jennings, D.O., MPH, MBA
Dr. Chandra Jennings, DO, MPH, MBA, is a Street Medicine Physician, Medical Education and Community Outreach Coordinator, and previously the Medical Director at Camillus Health Concern (FQHC) in Miami, FL. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Tulane University (BSPH) and the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPH).
She obtained her medical degree at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), Carolinas Campus in Spartanburg, SC. She completed her residency at the Southern Colorado Family Medicine Program at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center, where she served as Co-Chief Resident from 2019 to 2020. In 2023, she graduated from the Physician Executive Master of Business Administration Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Jennings holds board certifications from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Jennings nurtured her love for family medicine and public health through international mission medicine in the Caribbean and Central America. These experiences motivated her to utilize her skills to develop community health programs and provide primary care in low-income, diverse communities. Her passion for community health is sustained by patient care, advocacy for underserved care resource development, and medical student mentorship.
As a street medicine physician, she now specializes in treating complex medical conditions in adults and children, implementing programs, managing quality initiatives, and developing clinical resources for patients experiencing homelessness, the newly immigrated, and socially vulnerable residents of Miami-Dade County, Florida. In 2023, Dr. Jennings was recognized by the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) as Florida’s State Emerging Leader.
