Dr. Sheila Ramanathan is currently practicing behavioral telehealth at Lyra Health Associates in addition to urgent and primary care through Walmart Telehealth. Prior to that she had been practicing in rural primary outpatient medicine for eleven years including her time spent completing an osteopathic rural family medicine residency in Watertown, New York. She works to improve the osteopathic workforce as an active NBOME diplomat using her experience in test question writing and reviewing to improve the COMLEX levels 1-3. She also performs internet medical content review to combat misinformation in the general public in addition to assisting with medical large language modeling development. She grew up near Quakertown, Pennsylvania and attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular biology from Lehigh University. When she isn’t working as a physician she writes for "The Family Doctor" and has publications through Kevin MD and "The DO."
